My most recent project, “Less Waste, More Food” focuses on the dichotomy of consumer food waste culture, our rapidly changing climate, and hunger. Together with the people in my community most impacted, we explored the reasons behind the waste and possibilities to shift into Plenty. The result is an inviting, multi-faceted, permanent, exterior installation at our new food pantry. Co-designed and created by over 1,000 people in Lacey, WA, the installation weaves together the participants’ artwork, sharing their stories and inviting others to take action.
