At 220 feet long, this is one of the largest murals in the Puget Sound. It was created in a collaborative process to meet the goal of beautifying a high-traffic trail in order to encourage bicycle and pedestrian traffic. The mural, a visual representation of the ecosystems from Mt. Rainer to the Pacific Ocean, was designed to take into account the varying speeds with which people view the mural.
